Cancellation & Refund Policy

Please read our cancellation and refund policy carefully before making a booking. This policy governs all tour packages, hotel bookings, and travel services provided by Vedatour and Travels.

Booking Cancellation Rules

  • 1.Cancellations must be communicated in writing via email to vedatourtravels@gmail.com or through the contact form on our website.
  • 2.The date of cancellation is determined by when we receive your written cancellation request, not when you made the decision to cancel.
  • 3.Cancellation charges are calculated based on the total tour cost and the number of days remaining before departure.
  • 4.All cancellations are subject to a minimum administrative fee of ₹1,000 per person.
  • 5.No-show on the day of departure will result in 100% cancellation charges with no refund.

Refund Policy

The refund amount depends on the timing of cancellation before the tour departure date:

Note: Refund percentages are calculated on the total package cost after deducting the administrative fee.

Processing Time

  • Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days from the date of cancellation confirmation.
  • The refund will be credited to the original payment method used at the time of booking.
  • For bank transfers or UPI payments, the refund may take up to 5–7 business days after processing to reflect in your account.
  • Credit/debit card refunds typically take 7–10 business days depending on your bank's processing time.

Non-Refundable Cases

  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before departure.
  • No-show on the day of departure.
  • Voluntary early exit or mid-tour cancellation by the traveler.
  • Partial utilization of services (e.g., unused hotel nights or meals).
  • Cancellations due to force majeure events (natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics) are handled on a case-by-case basis.
  • Non-refundable deposits or special event tickets already procured on your behalf.

Important Notes

  • We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.
  • If Vedatour and Travels cancels a tour due to insufficient participation or operational reasons, you will receive a full refund with no cancellation charges.
  • Date change requests are treated as cancellations and rebooking, subject to the same cancellation policy.
  • During peak season (May–July and December–January), stricter cancellation policies may apply for certain packages.
